Class A CDL Driver


Roses Southwest Papers, Inc. is a family owned and operated minority business located in Albuquerque, NM. We specialize in the production of paper products for the away-from-home market. For the past 30 years, we have served some of the nation’s largest restaurant chains and redistributors. Our mission is to service our customers with integrity, while offering superior service and a quality product, at a fair price. We are looking for a qualified and motivated Class A CDL Driver to join our team.

Job Classification: Full-time


  o Valid Class A CDL

  o Current D.O.T. physical

  o Current Class A

  o 3 years verifiable and stable work history

  o 5 years Verified Motor Vehicle Record


  o Truck Driving, 5 year minimum

  o Class A CDL, 5 year minimum

•Job Description

  o New Mexico to California Route – Twice weekly. In Albuquerque Weekly (Mostly Weekends)

  o Driver will run primarily between Albuquerque and Vernon, California. These runs will mostly be  along I-40 W and I-10W.

  o Drivers are expected to run a full 60 hours per week with 34 hr. reset.

  o Drivers may occasionally be asked to take loads outside their normal running area, and are expected to do so when asked, according to the needs of the company.

  o Drivers will typically be home weekly for their 34-hour reset. Drivers’ days off may vary from time to time based on company need.

  o Type of Freight:  Paper/Palletized Loads; Dry Vans

•Salary:  $70,000 a year, or $.47 per mile base rate (to be discussed at hiring), plus up to $5,000 per year in safe driving/performance bonus (paid quarterly).

•Employment offer is contingent upon the satisfactory outcome of pre-employment drug (including Marijuana) and alcohol screening, and criminal background check.
